Dennis Merriam

Dennis Merriam has extensive experience in human resources and labor relations. Dennis began their career at General Electric as an Administrator of Labor Relations from 1981 to 1987. Dennis then joined National Gypsum Company as a Manager of Labor Relations from 1987 to 1993. Following that, they worked at Family Dollar as the Director of Employee Relations from 1993 to 1995 and then as the Vice President of Human Resources from 1995 to 2011. Dennis also served as the Vice President of Human Resources at Kane Is Able, Inc. from 2011 to 2012. Finally, they returned to National Gypsum Company and held the positions of Director of Labor Relations from 2012 to 2014 and Vice President of Human Resources from 2014 onwards.

Dennis Merriam obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial & Labor Relations from Cornell University in 1978. Dennis then pursued a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree with a focus on Labor & Employment Law at Florida State University, completing it in 1981. Later, they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in Human Resources Management from Florida Institute of Technology in 1986.
