Boris Guennewig

Boris Guennewig, PhD, is the Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of smrtr, with additional roles as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney, where Boris leads the Biostatistics & Bioinformatics group within the ForeFront Ageing and Neurodegeneration Research Clinic. Boris serves as a Principal Consultant and Founder at Pacific Analytics PTY LTD, is a member of the MRFF Grant Assessment Committee under the NHMRC, and contributes as an Editorial Board Member for Nature Scientific Reports. Boris's expertise includes advisory roles for organizations such as the Australian Genomics Health Alliance and GenieUs Genomics, alongside a background as a Bioinformatics Research Officer at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research. Boris holds a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry and Nucleic Acids Research from ETH Zürich, supplemented by degrees in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from leading institutions.
