James Parker

James Parker serves as the Principal at Plaza Vista School within the Irvine Unified School District, overseeing nearly 1000 students from Pre-K through 8th grade since July 2014. In addition to this role, James Parker has been a consultant for Leverage Learning Group since 2019 and serves as a Video Goal Judge for the National Hockey League. Previous experience includes positions as Assistant Principal and Special Education Teacher at Huntington Beach Union High School District, as well as teaching elementary special education in Covina Valley Unified School District. Early career roles also include tutoring and teaching for The Princeton Review and working as a Special Education Instructional Assistant. Educational qualifications include an Executive MBA from the University of California, Irvine, a Master of Education in Special Education from Azusa Pacific University, and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from UCLA, supplemented by leadership training from various educational institutions.
