Shaquia Coleman

Shaquia Coleman has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Shaquia worked as a Controller and Director of Corporate Accounting & Treasury at National Housing Trust since July 2023. Previously, they worked as an Assistant Controller at the same company from May 2022 to July 2023. Prior to that, they worked at RSM US LLP as a Supervisor of Finance & Accounting Outsourcing from May 2021 to May 2022, and as a Senior Associate from May 2018 to May 2021. Shaquia also worked at Tate & Tryon, CPAs & Consultants as a Supervising Senior Accountant in Outsourced Accounting Services from November 2019 to January 2020, and as a Senior Accountant from May 2018 to November 2019. Earlier in their career, they gained experience at Oath as an Expense Accountant from April 2016 to December 2017, Kearney & Company as a Senior Accountant from May 2015 to March 2016, and as a Financial Statement Staff II Accountant from March 2014 to May 2015. Shaquia also worked at Edison Electric Institute as a Finance & Accounting Specialist from September 2012 to March 2014, the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission as a Customer Service Representative from May 2009 to August 2012, and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as a Summer Honors Intern in June 2010.

Shaquia Coleman attended Virginia Commonwealth University from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting. In November 2021, they obtained a certification as a Real Estate Sales Agent from Taylor Properties in Maryland.
