Clara Villatoro is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in strategic communications and advocacy related to immigration policies and global development. Currently serving as the Assistant Vice President of Strategic Communications at the National Immigration Forum, Clara has previously held various roles, including Senior Manager and Strategic Communications Manager. Clara's background includes research assistance at the Pulte Institute for Global Development and UNDP, where skills in grant proposal writing and collaboration analysis were developed. With a strong foundation in journalism and communications from reputable institutions, Clara's work has spanned multiple organizations, focusing on human rights, policy translation, and stakeholder engagement across Central America and beyond. Clara holds a Master’s degree in Global Affairs / International Peace Studies from the University of Notre Dame and has pursued advanced studies in multimedia journalism and social communications.
