Radka Fahey (Saldova) is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in glycobiology and cancer research. Currently serving as an Adjunct Associate Professor, Adjunct Lecturer/Assistant Professor, and Adjunct Research Fellow at UCD School of Medicine since 2017, Radka Fahey also holds the position of NIBRT Investigator at the National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training since 2007, leading projects focused on epigenetic regulation of glycosylation and cancer chemoresistance. Previous roles include a Senior Post Doctoral Research Fellow and Postdoctoral Researcher, where contributions involved innovative glycomic analysis for cancer diagnostics and biomarker discovery. Radka Fahey's educational qualifications include a PhD in Chemistry with a specialization in Glycobiology and an MSc in Chemistry with a focus on Biochemistry and Biotechnology, both from the Institute of Chemical Technology in Prague. Additional experience includes research positions in various organizations and earlier roles in quality control and cabin crew.
