Rebekah Hanson

Rebekah Hanson, MS, currently serves as a Biological Science Program Specialist at the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture, focusing on food production and sustainability within the Division of Agricultural Systems since September 2022. Previous experience includes roles as a Nutritional Sciences Graduate Research Assistant at Iowa State University, an Environmental Summer Steward with Green Iowa AmeriCorps, and a Community Agriculture Promoter with the Peace Corps. Additional experience encompasses internships in food security and nutrition at Blessman International, as well as specialty crop laboratory work at Kemin Industries. Rebekah Hanson holds a Master of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences from Iowa State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Northern Iowa.
