Faezeh Sarlakifar

Faezeh Sarlakifar is currently a Research Assistant at the National Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (NIGEB) since March 2023 and a Teaching Assistant for the Machine Learning course at Sharif University of Technology. Sarlakifar has a solid academic and research background, having worked as a Research Assistant at Shahid Beheshti University from September 2020 to September 2024, focusing on deep learning and bio-computing, and also held a teaching assistant position for a graduate course on deep reinforcement learning. Additional experience includes research assistant roles at the SBU NLP Lab, specializing in Persian text emotion recognition, and internships involving web scraping for text analysis. Sarlakifar participated in a summer school program on computational neuroscience with Neuromatch in July 2023, contributing to a research project on human perceptual inference. Sarlakifar holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Shahid Beheshti University and previously earned a high school diploma in Mathematics-Physics from the National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents (Sampad).
