Soo Ling Lim

Soo Ling Lim is an Honorary Associate Professor at UCL since August 2010, conducting research in the Intelligent Systems Group with a focus on agent-based modeling, evolutionary computation, social networks, and machine learning. Responsibilities also include roles as a Technical Advisor and full-stack developer for various startups. As the founder of Kazoova Ltd, Soo Ling Lim launched an online marketplace for unique activities in London. In addition, contributions as a Chief Technology Officer for Youda and interim Chief R&D Officer at Braintree have involved managing AI projects for prominent corporations. Academic engagement includes a Visiting Associate Professor position at the National Institute of Informatics in Japan. Soo Ling Lim holds a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from UNSW, complemented by other degrees in Software Engineering and Teaching and Learning in Higher Education.
