Hideyasu M R Hide Sasaki is a distinguished computer scientist and tenured researcher at NICT, serving as a Senior Research Scientist since April 2016, focusing on network research within Japan's Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications. In addition to expertise in bio-inspired computing and mobile health solutions as a former Senior Researcher at Keio University, Hideyasu has owned a law practice since January 2000, maintaining licensure with the Supreme Court of New York State Bar. Contributions to academia include roles as Editor-in-Chief for the International Journal of Organizational and Collective Intelligence and participation as an academic visitor and visiting scholar at prestigious universities. Hideyasu holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master of Laws from the University of Chicago Law School, a PhD in Computer and Information Sciences from Keio University, and additional degrees in Political Science, Economics, and Law from The University of Tokyo.
