Anda Vlad

Anda Vlad, MD PhD, serves as an Associate Professor (Tenured) in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine since 2015. Additionally, Anda Vlad has held the position of Director at both the Flow Cytometry and Digital Spatial Profiling Core at Magee-Womens Research Institute and Foundation since 2007 and the Summer Undergraduate Research Program at the United States Department of Defense in 2022. Anda Vlad was also the Chair of the Grant Review Panel for the Ovarian Cancer Research Program in 2022 and served as a member of the DOD Ovarian Cancer Academy from 2010 to 2015. Prior academic experience includes serving as an Assistant Professor in the same department at the University of Pittsburgh from 2007 to 2014. Educational achievements include a PhD in Immunology from the University of Pittsburgh and an MD in Medicine from Universitatea de Medicină și Farmacie din Craiova.
