Lance Vanhaitsma

Lance VanHaitsma has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Lance began their career as a Sales Associate at Menards in 2003 and later interned at Bell's Brewery. Lance then worked as a Research and Development Specialist at Kalsec Inc. before transitioning to a Quality Control Specialist role at Kalamazoo Metal Finishers Inc. In 2006, Lance became a Professional Educator at The School District of Palm Beach County and held this position until 2015.

In 2016, Lance joined FIFA as a FIFA Futsal Referee, a role they held until 2019. Lance also worked as the Director of Operations at the National Intercollegiate Soccer Officials Association from 2018 to 2019 and later became the Chief Operating Officer. In 2020, Lance served as the Senior Director of Operations at the association.

Lance's career in sports continued as they became the Manager of Refereeing at CONCACAF in 2019. Currently, they hold the position of NCAA Video Education Coordinator - Soccer at the NCAA since 2021. Additionally, Lance is a FIFA Futsal Technical Instructor - Referee since 2021 as well.

Lance VanHaitsma attended The College of Wooster from 2000 to 2002, where they pursued a field of study in Chemistry. Lance then transferred to Western Michigan University and completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Psychology from 2002 to 2006.
