Alicia Christensen

Alicia Christensen, Esq., CIPP/US, CIPM, serves as the Vice President, General Counsel, Chief Privacy and Compliance Officer, and Research Institutional Official at National Jewish Health since January 2017. Christensen previously held the position of Executive Director of Compliance and Regulatory Affairs at the same organization. Additionally, Christensen co-led the Privacy Workforce Public Working Group at the National Institute of Standards and Technology from June 2022 to July 2023. Earlier experience includes serving as the Director of Graduate Medical Education at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and various roles at Boston Children's Hospital, including Regulatory Counsel and Manager of the Compliance & Privacy Program. Academically, Christensen holds a Juris Doctorate from New England Law | Boston, a Master's in Sports Psychology, and a Bachelor's in Exercise Science from the University of Kansas.
