Hazie S. C. has a diverse work experience with various roles and responsibilities. In 2015, they worked as a Research Assistant at Brown University. From 2015 to 2016, they served as a Founding Operation's Associate at Excel Academy Charter Schools, where they played a crucial role in developing the school's strategic plan and managing operational goals. They also served as a Dean of Students for the 9th and 10th grade, ensuring adherence to school policies and fostering a positive school culture.

In 2016, Hazie joined Teach For America as a TFA Core Member for two years, where they worked to improve educational outcomes for students. They also served on the PRISM DC Board as Co-Chair and later became a member of the PRISM MA Board. Additionally, they founded and advised a group called Young Women's 19, focused on empowering young women of color through leadership roles, community service, and advocacy.

In 2019, Hazie participated in the Leaders for Emerging Networks of Schools (LENS) program, strengthening their leadership skills in urban charter schools. They also worked as a Coordinator for Student Interventions at Washington Latin PCS School District, where they led a project to improve the multi-tiered system of support for students and educators.

In 2021, Hazie served as a Member of the Board of Trustees for Time of Butterflies, and in 2022, they joined Qui Qui DC as a Catering and Events Coordinator, responsible for managing all aspects of private catering and events.

Currently, Hazie is working at the National Legal Aid & Defender Association as a Senior Project Manager and Deputy Director of Technology Infrastructure. In these roles, they are responsible for managing technology projects, event management, and collaborating with various departments to improve operations and implement organizational improvements.

Hazie S. C. pursued their education in a chronological manner, with their first educational experience being at City on a Hill Charter Public High School from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Following this, they studied at Wheaton College Massachusetts from 2011 to 2015 to earn their Bachelor of Arts degree, with a major in Neuroscience. Finally, from 2017 to 2019, they attended Boston University and completed their Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
