Yaron Deutscher

Yaron Deutscher currently serves as the Head of Digital Access Division and Chief Digital Officer at the National Library of Israel, a position held since June 2015. Prior experience includes co-founding Shiri and serving as VP of Product from January 2017 to December 2020, and assuming the role of Director of Digital Content and Product at the Ministry of Defence from July 2012 to June 2015. Yaron Deutscher also led the online news desk and managed apps at Channel 2 News from September 2008 to June 2012, held the position of Deputy Editor in Chief at msn Israel from December 2006 to September 2008, and worked as an editor and writer at SBC from August 2004 to July 2006. Yaron Deutscher obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in General History, as well as in Communication and Media Studies from Tel Aviv University, where studies were completed between 2002 and 2006.
