Matt Miller

Matt Miller is a Mechanical Design Engineer at the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland since May 2022, following a diverse career in engineering and project management. Prior experience includes roles as a Life of Field Engineer at TechnipFMC, where management of external stakeholder assets across multiple regions and root cause analysis of component failures were key responsibilities. Matt also served as a Project Manager at JPMorgan Chase & Co., overseeing internal stakeholder assets and standardizing information storage processes, and at Natural Power, focusing on major engineering changes in wind turbines while adhering to HSE legislation. Earlier experience at Expro involved optimizing design concepts and managing testing to enhance project delivery. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Zoology/Animal Biology and a Bachelor of Engineering in fluid dynamics from the University of Aberdeen.
