Melissa Rowan Cmp

Melissa Rowan has a diverse work experience in event planning and management. Melissa started their career as a Corporate Communications Intern at Neustar, where they assisted with various tasks such as press releases, event registration, and media research. Melissa then moved on to become an Analyst Relations and Community Relations employee at Neustar, where they facilitated industry analyst briefings and produced reports for marketing executives. In their next role as an Events Coordinator at Neustar, Melissa managed a busy schedule of over 70 events per year, handling venue sourcing, menu planning, and RSVP tracking. Following this, they worked as an Events Coordinator at TAPE-LLC, collaborating with the Corporate Communications and Marketing team to plan and execute trade shows and corporate events. Currently, Melissa is working at the National Multifamily Housing Council, where they have held various roles. Melissa started as an Assistant Director of Meetings, overseeing all aspects of event planning and management. Melissa then progressed to the role of Senior Director of Sponsorships and Exhibits, and currently serves as the Associate Vice President of Sponsorships and Exhibits. Overall, Melissa has a strong background in event coordination, sponsorships, and exhibits in both corporate and non-profit settings.
