Kathryn Heitz

Kathryn Heitz has over two decades of experience in crisis support and mental health services. Currently serving as the Manager of the MS Navigator Team at the National MS Society since February 2007, Kathryn provides direct crisis support to vulnerable populations facing issues such as domestic abuse, suicidal ideation, and homelessness, while leading a national crisis team with expertise in these areas. Prior to this role, Kathryn worked as a Psychotherapist at Dove Counseling, where evidence-based therapeutic approaches were utilized in individual and group settings, including facilitating domestic violence treatment and parolee reintegration groups. Kathryn began their career as a Case Manager for Intervention, BI, assisting probationers in securing essential resources to aid their reintegration into society. Kathryn holds a Master of Criminal Justice in Criminology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, both from the University of Colorado Denver.
