Team Leader Visitor Experience at National Museum Of Australia

Leigh Atkins has extensive experience in visitor engagement and education within the tourism and conservation sectors. Since October 2017, Leigh has served as Team Leader for Visitor Experience at the National Museum of Australia, previously holding the role of Visitor Experience Host. Prior to this, from July 2012 to October 2017, Leigh worked at Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley as Assistant Field Guide Manager and Field Guide, leading outdoor and interpretive programs highlighting the Blue Mountains' natural and cultural heritage. Earlier experience includes the role of Education Officer at the National Zoo and Aquarium Canberra from January 2006 to June 2012, where Leigh developed and managed various educational programs. Leigh holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Adventure Ecotourism from Charles Sturt University and a Year 12 Certificate from Dickson College.
