Richard Manski is a distinguished professional with extensive experience in dental public health and academia. Serving as the Professor and Chair of Dental Public Health at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry since August 1985, Richard manages a team focused on public health research and education. As the Executive Director of the National Museum of Dentistry, a Smithsonian Affiliate since December 2013, Richard oversees the operations of a prominent dental collection that chronicles the history of dentistry in the United States and beyond. Additionally, Richard holds the position of Senior Scholar at the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, providing expertise on oral health care data and methods. Richard's leadership experience extends to the Community College of Baltimore County, where service on the Board of Trustees involved governance and strategic planning. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Chemistry from Boston College, a DDS from Howard University, a PhD in Public Policy from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, and an MBA in Marketing/Accounting from UMass Boston.
