Jasmine Umeno

Jasmine Umeno serves as the Executive Assistant at the National Network of Abortion Funds, providing high-level administrative and strategic support to an eight-person executive team since April 2021. Previously, Jasmine held the position of Executive Coordinator at Hawaii Health & Ha, where administrative duties included managing the Executive Director’s schedule and coordinating nonprofit activities with a $9 million operating budget. Prior experience includes serving as an Assistant Language Teacher in the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program(me) (JET), where Jasmine taught over 2500 students, and as a Curatorial Assistant at Scripps College, managing a large database of artworks. Jasmine holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Asian Studies from Scripps College and several professional licenses in classical Japanese dance.
