John Angus Hamilton

John Angus Hamilton is an experienced engineer with a diverse background in marine and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as a Maintenance Engineer at Emtelle since September 2019, John has also held the position of Third Engineer aboard the RRS Discovery at the National Oceanography Centre since June 2015. Their career includes roles as an Engineering Officer with Northstar, where John worked on various offshore vessels, and as a Laborer at AJ Joinery, gaining skills in renovation. John started in the industry as a Part-Time Assistant Mechanic at Weensland Motor Centre and completed a Cadetship with Zodiac Maritime Agencies. John holds a Professional Diploma in Marine Engineering from the City of Glasgow College School of Nautical Sciences.
