Leon Bowring

Leon Bowring is a Mechanical Design and Development Engineer currently employed at the National Oceanography Centre since October 2018, specializing in MARS development. Prior to this role, Leon worked as a Design Engineer at Vikoma International Limited from August 2010 to September 2018, focusing on the mechanical design engineering of both legacy and new products. Earlier experience includes a position as a Mechanical Engineer at BAE Systems from 1998 to June 2010. Leon holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng Hons) from the University of Southampton, where studies were completed between 1995 and 1998, following education at Cowes High School.
