Colleen Tate McHugh

Colleen Tate McHugh is an experienced advocate currently working at Community Safety Network since September 2023. With a long-standing role as a Wilderness Medicine Instructor at NOLS Wilderness Medicine since November 2014, Colleen has also contributed to City Kids Wilderness Project in various capacities, including Learning and Development Consultant and Director of Training & Talent Development, from November 2009 until October 2023. Previous experience includes serving as Program Director at Living Classrooms of the National Capital Region from February 2008 to November 2009. Colleen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Gender & Sexuality and International Studies from American University, completed in May 2007.
