As senior vice president, strategic operations, Kristie Malley and her team partner with the Office of the President, Philanthropy, and Corporate Partnerships to deliver exceptional support in the areas of donor communications; strategic planning; prospect development; database management, reporting, and division operations.
Throughout her career, Malley has connected donors with meaningful opportunities to realize their philanthropic goals and create legacies that protect wilderness, advance equity for women and girls, and empower refugees.
Immediately prior to joining National Park Foundation in August 2018, Malley served as the senior director of legacy giving and acting vice president for Philanthropy at The Wilderness Society (TWS). There, she rebuilt the organization’s gift planning program, advanced organizational philanthropy priorities with the executive team, and guided the department through annual strategic planning.
Before The Wilderness Society, Malley was a key member of development teams at USA for UNHCR, American Association of University Women (AAUW), and NASPA – Student Affairs Professionals in Higher Education, where she developed programs that lead to increased donor satisfaction and organizational stability and growth.
Malley completed her undergraduate studies at Duquesne University and her graduate studies at Columbia University in the City of New York. When Malley is not in the office, you can find her reading travel guides, picking people’s brains about their recent travels, or practicing her photography skills around Washington, DC.
