Hrishikesh Nashikkar

Hrishikesh Nashikkar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in blockchain technology and innovation. Currently serving as the Head of Blockchain at the National Payments Corporation of India since December 2022, Hrishikesh previously held the role of Associate Director of Blockchain & Innovation at Novartis, leading multiple teams and driving significant blockchain initiatives, including participation in the PharmaLedger Blockchain Consortium. Prior to Novartis, Hrishikesh spent over a decade at Broadridge, progressing from Software Engineer to Blockchain Practice Lead - Capital Market, where foundational contributions to the creation of a Blockchain Center of Excellence were made. Early career experiences include roles as a Financial Services Technology Consultant at Goldman Sachs and Programmer Analyst at Magmet Software Solution. Hrishikesh holds an Executive Program in Global Business Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computers from Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, Pune.
