Senior Research Scientist at NATIONAL PHYSICAL LABORATORY LIMITED

Sam Hunt is a Senior Research Scientist at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) since September 2016, specializing in Earth Observation and Climate, focusing on projects such as Sentinel-3 Tandem for Climate and the Earthnet Data Assessment Pilot. Prior to this role, Sam completed a traineeship as a Young Graduate Trainee - Junior Instrument Performance Engineer at ESA/ESTEC from June 2015 to July 2016, contributing to the Sentinel-3 project and developing a Radiometric Uncertainty Tool. Sam obtained an MPhys in Physics from Durham University between 2010 and 2014 and has a foundational education from Beverley Grammar School.
