Eleanor Dea Jimenez has extensive experience in education and aquatic safety, currently serving as a teacher at National Presbyterian School since July 2021. Prior to this role, Eleanor taught at Montgomery County Public Schools for over 30 years, specifically at Bradley Hills Elementary in various elementary grades. In addition to teaching, Eleanor has been involved with the American Red Cross since December 1981 as a lifeguard instructor and lifeguard. From May 2000, Eleanor has also worked as a pool operator and manager, coach, private swim instructor, and trainer with Pool Personnel, holding certifications in lifeguarding, CPR, First Aid, and AED, alongside training in water safety instruction. Furthermore, Eleanor has operated as an independent consultant for Pampered Chef since April 2000. Eleanor holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, a minor in Art and Design, and has completed master's level coursework in Curriculum Theory and Development, all from the University of Maryland.
