Laura Foster

Laura Foster is an experienced educator currently serving as a First Grade Teacher at National Presbyterian School since August 2020 and as Affiliate Faculty at Loyola University's Center for Montessori Education since June 2020. Laura has a diverse background in education, including roles as a Consultant at Metro Consulting from September 2018 to July 2020, and Director of Training at Metro Montessori from July 2013 to May 2020. Additional experience includes serving as Head of School at Broad Branch Children's House and Director at Children's Montessori School of Georgetown. Laura holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Cognitive Science and Linguistics from Pomona College, a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Kentucky, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education - EdD in Mind, Brain, and Teaching at Johns Hopkins University School of Education.
