Brittany Bernstein has a diverse range of work experience. In 2015, they started working as a Staff Writer for The Statesman, where they were responsible for collecting incident reports and interviewing the Assistant Chief of Investigations and Administration. From May to July 2017, they served as an Editorial Intern for both the Rio Grande SUN and Long Island Business News. In 2018, they interned as a Breaking News Intern at USA TODAY, covering breaking news in the Fort Myers/Naples area. Brittany also worked as a Digital News Intern at Newsday Media Group from September 2018 to May 2019. From July 2016 to May 2018, they worked as a Personal Care Aide at Recco Home Care Service Inc. Brittany then became a Marie Colvin Fellow at The Wall Street Journal from May to July 2019. In 2019, they returned to Newsday Media Group as a Digital News Intern until March 2020. Brittany then became a Media and Journalism Fellow at the Poynter Institute from June 2020 to May 2021. Currently, they are a News Writer at National Review, starting in June 2020.
Brittany Bernstein attended Stony Brook University from 2015 to 2018, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism with a minor in Creative Writing.
