Kyle Barrington

Training Counselor/instructor at National Rifle Association of America

Kyle Barrington has a diverse work experience in the fields of combative arts and firearms instruction. Kyle is the owner of Modern American Combative Arts since February 2012. Prior to that, they worked as a FLETC Firearms Instructor at the US Department of Homeland Security from June 2007. Kyle also served as a Training Counselor/Instructor at the National Rifle Association from September 1998. Additionally, they worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Sig Sauer Academy from June 2012 until June 2022. Finally, they were a Lead Instructor at Northrop Grumman from April 2005 to June 2007.

Kyle Barrington completed a Master's degree in Security Management from Bellevue University. Kyle attended the university from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they studied at the John F Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School from 1989 to 2005, where they earned a degree in Unconventional Warfare. At the Special Warfare Center and School, their degree was specialized in 18C-18FW8, focusing on becoming an SF Assaulter and Master Breacher.
