Sebastien Poupar

Sebastien Poupar is the Opto-Mechanical Supervisor at the National Solar Observatory since June 2021. Prior to this role, Sebastien worked as a Principal Engineer for the DKIST mechanical team, both on-site and remotely. With extensive experience in mechanical and coating engineering, project management, and design, Sebastien has successfully led various projects related to telescope optics, vibrations management, spare mirrors manufacturing, and designing mechanical structures. Additionally, Sebastien has a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from UTBM.
