Al Anzaldua has extensive experience in leadership roles within the National Space Society, currently serving as the NSS Executive Vice President and chair of both the NSS Policy Committee and the NSS International Committee since March 2019. Prior to this, Al held positions as the NSS International Committee Chair and Deputy Chair of the Policy Committee from January 2018 to February 2019 and served intermittently as President of the Tucson Chapter National Space Society from 1987 to January 2016. Additionally, Al worked as a Foreign Service Diplomat at the U.S. Department of State from January 1993 to March 2009, managing portfolios related to consular affairs, economics, labor, science, and the environment. Al's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Latin American Studies from the University of Arizona, alongside a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and Affairs from Bradley University.
