Bunmi Omisore

Bunmi Omisore is currently a Research Assistant at Duke University Sanford School of Public Policy and a Board Member for the National Student Board Member Association. Previously, Bunmi served as a Policy Intern at the National Center on Education and the Economy, focusing on chronic absenteeism in American public schools. Experience also includes roles as a Public Relations Coordinator at DELTA HEALTH CENTER INC., Camp Coordinator at St. Gabriel Mercy Center, and a Board Member for Anne Arundel County Public Schools, where Bunmi was noted as the only student member with full voting rights. Bunmi has held various leadership positions, including Director of Initiative and Podcasting at Modern Divergence, and participated in fellowships and internships that emphasize civic engagement and education policy. Bunmi's academic background includes degrees from Duke University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
