Amy Terrone

Amy Terrone is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technical writing and communications within the field of transportation safety. Since June 2013, Amy has served as the Technical Writing Manager for Marine Safety at the National Transportation Safety Board, where responsibilities include developing communication strategies to advocate for critical transportation safety improvements based on crash investigation findings. Prior to this role, Amy held the position of Writer/Editor for report development focused on highway safety at the National Transportation Safety Board and managed a production and editorial unit at the Transportation Security Administration. Earlier in Amy's career, roles included editor/writer for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and editor for the Diplomatic Security Service at the U.S. Department of State. Amy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
