Elias Kontanis

Elias Kontanis has a wealth of experience in various fields, ranging from forensic anthropology to aviation instruction. Currently serving as Chief in the Transportation Disaster Assistance Division at the National Transportation Safety Board, Elias has also held titles such as Assistant Chief Instructor at Aviation Adventures and Certificated Flight Instructor at Civil Air Patrol. With a PhD in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Binghamton University, Elias combines their scientific background with their aviation expertise to excel in their diverse roles.
