Robert Hall

Robert Hall is the Director of the Office of Railroad, Pipeline & Hazardous Materials Investigations at the National Transportation Safety Board. Prior to their current position, they served as the Command Information Officer at the Naval Robert'story and Heritage Command from October 2012 to October 2019. In this role, they were responsible for executing the NHHC's IT budget and projects portfolio, modernizing the public website, and leading the Information Assurance staff. Robert also oversaw the transition of the KE Software Electronic Museum Database to a commercial cloud solution.

Hall has a long history of working in IT and telecommunications. Robert began their career as a software engineer, before moving into management roles. Robert has been with the National Transportation Safety Board since 2020.

Robert Hall has a Master's degree in Cyber Security from University of Maryland Baltimore County, a Certificate in Information Technology Project Management from Syracuse University, an Advanced Management Program (AMP 47) in Chief Information Officer from National Defense University, and a Masters in Information Technology from American InterContinental University. Robert also has a BSA in Aerospace Engineering from United States Naval Academy. Robert's High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates are from Mazama High School. Robert also has certifications from University of Maryland Baltimore County in Cybersecurity Operations, LinkedIn in Building a Responsive Portfolio Site, National Defense University in Government Chief Information Officer, FAA in Commercial Pilot - Fixed Wing SEL, Instrument, Rotary Wing, and FAA in Remote Pilot In Command - sUAS.
