Cheryl Desantis

Cheryl DeSantis serves as the Chief People Officer at National Veterinary Associates since May 2023. Previously, Cheryl held the position of Chief People & Diversity Officer at SmileDirectClub from September 2018 to May 2023, where responsibilities included leading the HR function and contributing to strategic business decisions. Cheryl's extensive experience at Mars from May 2005 to August 2018 encompassed multiple roles, including Vice President of People & Organization for the Petcare division, where oversight spanned global HR strategies. Earlier roles included leadership positions at Watson Wyatt and MCI, focusing on communication strategies and marketing management. Cheryl holds a degree in Rhetoric and Communication Studies from the University of Virginia and a Master of Arts in Public Communication from American University.
