Denise Helms

Denise Helms serves as the Director of Development at the United Way of St. Lucie & Okeechobee since January 2022, bringing extensive experience from various leadership roles within non-profit organizations. Denise has been involved with the National Wild Turkey Federation since August 2010, holding multiple positions including Florida State Chapter Executive at Large, President, and Board Member. Additionally, Denise has presided over the St. Lucie County CattleWomen's Association since December 2012. Previous roles also include Medical Administration Supervisor at New Vision Eye Center and Clinical Support Supervisor at Florida Eye Institute. Denise's early career involved marketing leadership at CA Technologies Automation. Educational qualifications include an Associate of Arts and an Associate of Science in Business, Marketing, and AgriBusiness from Indian River State College, completed between 1990 and 1994.
