Courtney Anderson

Fellow, Income Security at National Women's Law Center

Courtney Anderson is a legal professional with extensive experience in civil rights law and social insurance advocacy. Currently serving as a Social Insurance Legal Fellow at the National Women's Law Center since April 2023, Courtney previously held the role of Student Attorney at the Civil and Human Rights Clinic, focusing on employment and gender identity discrimination, as well as police brutality. Additional experience includes handling Wage and Hour cases at Harvard Legal Aid Bureau and representing parents in child welfare cases. Courtney's background also features internships at various organizations, where skills in legal research, client advocacy, and social media management were developed. Courtney earned a Juris Doctor from Howard University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Magna Cum Laude, from Spelman College.
