Jason Torres-Rangel

Jason Torres-Rangel is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in English education. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of English at Riverside City College since August 2023, Torres-Rangel has held multiple positions in educational institutions including Teacher Consultant for the UCLA Writing Project and Senior Research Associate & Consultant for the National Writing Project. Previous roles include Adjunct Professor of English at Los Angeles Trade Technical College, English Teacher at Theodore Roosevelt High School, and Clinical Faculty for the Bard MAT Program in Los Angeles. With a solid educational background, including a Master's degree in English Language and Literature from California State University, Los Angeles and ongoing PhD studies in Urban Education and Leadership at Claremont Graduate University, Torres-Rangel demonstrates a commitment to advancing English instruction and educational research.
