Zeke Levine

Translation Fellow at National Yiddish Book Center

Zeke Levine is a Ph.D. candidate in Historical Musicology at New York University, with research focusing on music in the U.S. Zeke has been a Translation Fellow at the National Yiddish Book Center, where responsibilities include translating works by Sam Liptzin and managing audio material. As a freelance musician since 2010, Zeke plays electric and upright bass across various genres and offers private instruction. Previous roles include producer and musician at Avenue F Records and intern at the Yiddish Book Center. Zeke earned a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies and Conflict Resolution from The University of Texas at Austin and attended Princeton High School.
