Mark Kagie

Mark Kagie has extensive work experience in finance and project management roles. Mark worked at Nationale-Nederlanden as Manager CFO DevOps Record-to-Report, responsible for the functional maintenance and operational support of various reporting and consolidation systems. Mark was also responsible for managing SAP Business Warehouse and PeopleSoft Financials system.

Prior to that, Mark worked at NN Group in various roles, including Manager CFO Group Finance Reporting Systems, Head of CFO/GF&R/RC/Finance Operations, Team Manager Operations, and Senior Finance Project & Change manager. In these roles, they supported monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes and played a key role in implementing Solvency II reporting measures.

Before joining NN Group, Mark worked at ING Group Insurance as Principal ING Group Controller Insurance/Program & Changemanagement, where they contributed to the development of a corporate logical datamodel and inclusion of pillar III quantative reporting templates in the financial reporting solution.

Mark also worked at ING Investment Management as the Head of Finance Project Office, where they managed finance-oriented projects and led a project and change management department.

Prior to that, they held various project-oriented positions within ING Group, where they successfully implemented financial consolidation and reporting systems and participated in continuous improvement initiatives.

Mark's career started at Nationale-Nederlanden in the Corporate Cash Flow Planning department, where they produced cashflow forecast statements and implemented an electronic banking system.

Throughout their career, Mark has gained expertise in financial reporting systems, project management, and operational support.

Mark Kagie obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business/Managerial Economics from HEAO Den Haag in the years 1983 to 1986. In 2007, they completed the ING Spearhead/Booster Programme at IMD. In 2012, Mark completed the Masterclass Programme Management at NCOI. Mark also obtained additional certifications including the MoP Foundation from APMG-International in 2014 and the PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner in November 2013.
