Dorien Grot

Dorien Grot currently serves as a Senior Jurist at the Nationaal Archief, a position held since April 2023. With extensive experience in the legal field, Dorien has been a Jurist at the Nationale ombudsman since February 2012 and previously worked as a Jurist for the Gemeentelijke ombudsman Rotterdam from June 2006 to March 2012. Dorien's career began at de Rechtspraak, where the role of Senior gerechtssecretaris was held from September 2000 to June 2006. Additional experience includes serving as the Secretary for the complaints committee on sexual harassment at the Ministerie van Veiligheid en Justitie in 2003-2004 and working as a Rechtshulpverlener at SRK Rechtsbijstand from 1998 to 2000. Dorien holds a University Degree in Dutch Law from Leiden University and has completed additional education at Erasmus University Rotterdam and the De Nederlandse Academie voor Psychotherapie, where a Beroepscoach Practitioner Level (NOBCO approved) was obtained. Prior education also includes attendance at Haagse Hogeschool Den Haag in 1991-1992.
