Senal Seneviratne

Senal Seneviratne serves as the Executive Vice President and Head of Corporate Banking at Nations Trust Bank PLC since January 2020, overseeing various banking sectors including Corporate Banking, Transaction Banking, Institutional Banking, and Project Finance. Prior to this role, Seneviratne worked at Gulf International Bank as Vice President and Group Country Officer for Qatar, managing key relationships with state-owned entities and large local corporates. Seneviratne also held managerial positions at HSBC, where significant achievements included structuring financing products and compliance responsibilities in anti-money laundering. Earlier experience includes roles at Hatton National Bank PLC and Aitken Spence. Seneviratne is well-educated, holding an MBA from the University of Sri Jayawardenepura and additional qualifications from The Wharton School and the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
