Jason Rissman

Jason Rissman has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jason is currently the Founder of Invested in Climate, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, Jason worked at IDEO, where they held multiple roles including Managing Director and Managing Director of OpenIDEO. In these positions, they were responsible for developing strategy, partnerships, and programs that focused on creating systems change and promoting social impact. Jason also played a key role in driving IDEO's involvement in climate innovation and sustainable food systems. Additionally, Jason served as an Advisor at CalWave Power Technologies Inc., an Advisory Board Member at the World Economic Forum, and Founder of the Bay Area Corporate Sustainability Leader Community. Jason was also an Advisor at GoodMouth, Inc. and served in various capacities at Google, including Strategic Partner Manager and Board Member for its renewable energy investment portfolio. Jason's experience also includes being a Board Member at Makani Power, a Member of Full Circle Fund, and Founding Partner of Shift Media, where they led business strategy and fundraising efforts for a startup media company. Jason Rissman completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and International Relations from Cornell University, from 1995 to 1999. Jason further pursued their education at NYU Stern School of Business, obtaining a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance with a specialization in Entertainment, Media & Technology, from 2004 to 2006.
