Mark Nalder

Mark Nalder has extensive experience in the payments industry, currently serving as Payment Strategy & Performance Director at Nationwide Building Society since July 1988. In this role, Mark oversees all payment industry engagement, strategy, and performance while leading specialist teams focused on strategy, data, and insights. Mark has held several key positions at Nationwide, including Head of Payment Strategy & Service and Senior Manager, Payment Service Management. Additionally, Mark is an Advisor on the Payments Association Advisory Board and serves as an Executive on the Current Account Switching Service Executive Committee. Previous roles include Director positions at Paym and Bacs Payment Schemes Limited, as well as management of cheque payment services at Cheque and Credit Clearing Company.
