Michael Stephenson

Michael Stephenson is a results-driven senior finance executive with extensive experience spanning various disciplines, including commercial support, accounting, reporting, taxation, payroll, accounts payable, and treasury. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Nationwide Group since March 2020, Michael previously held the positions of General Manager for Commercial and Operations and Financial Controller at RACV from July 2007 to March 2020. Prior to that, Michael was Finance Manager and Accountant at American Express from October 1996 to August 2006. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Sunderland, completed between 1995 and 1997, and possesses excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating an ability to foster effective working relationships and influence key decision-makers.
