Mark Gaetano

Mark Gaetano is a seasoned executive with over two decades of experience at Nationwide, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Property & Casualty Operations and the Business Transformation Office. Mark specializes in turning strategic initiatives into tangible business outcomes through effective portfolio planning and large-scale transformation projects, while fostering a culture of continuous process improvement using lean and six sigma methodologies. Previously, Mark held roles including Chief Transformation Officer, Senior Vice President of Enterprise Applications, and Vice President of Program Management, demonstrating expertise in IT strategy, risk management, and operational leadership across various domains. Prior to Nationwide, Mark worked at IBM Global Services and TASC, contributing significantly to IT solutions delivery and business development. Mark holds a Master of Science in Management Science from the University of Dayton and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh.
