Shawn Middelton Lgsw

Shawn Middelton LGSW is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in behavioral health and community work, currently serving as a Behavioral Health Therapist and Cultural/Spiritual Provider at the Native American Community Clinic since August 2021. Shawn has also held various roles, including Behavioral Home Health Specialist and Community Worker for Native and Indigenous Communities since 1991, and worked as an Independent Contractor from July 2000 to August 2021. Previous experience includes serving as a Case Manager & Trauma Specialist at Chief Seattle Club and as a Student Mental Health Clinician at Harborview Health Care for the Homeless, where Shawn developed a Native Wellness group aimed at supporting individuals facing homelessness and addiction. Shawn holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Washington, focusing on Clinical Mental Health, and has been an active member of the King County Coalition on Racial Disproportionality. Currently, Shawn resides in Minneapolis and is open to contract work.
